Privacy statement BIOPM

The Netherlands’ Society for Biophysics and Biomedical Engineering (BIOPM) does not provide personal data to third parties.

The administration of BIOPM is managed by NNV, according to the required privacy rules.

According to the Personal Protection Act, BIOPM is obliged:

• to process your request for inspection or modification of your data within 4 weeks of receipt;
• your personal data is secured properly. We do this with appropriate technical and organizational measures;
• you specify the storage time of your data. We remove it as soon as you are no longer a member of our society

In the context of the registration of our members, we collect the following personal data:

• Name and address, title.
• Communication data: Telephone number, e-mail address.
• Administration details: bank details.

We guarantee that your personal data will only be processed necessary in the context of your membership of the BIOPM.
